Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary:

Responsible for working with the HR team to administer policies and programs relating to all phases of human resources activity.  Generalist duties encompass recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, workers’ compensation, training and special projects.  Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State regulations.  The Human Resources Generalist is responsible to and will receive work duties from the Chief Operating Officer.

Essential Functions:

Performs all steps of the recruitment process, reviewing staffing requisitions, posting positions, screening applications, interviewing, employment verification, post-offer employment testing, conducting background checks and making offers of employment.

 Supervises timekeeping and payroll processing for all departments.

Maintains and administers all benefits programs, including enrollment and employee benefit requests/changes.

Interprets and communicates Human Resources policies and procedures.  Provides general advisement to supervisors needing to address employee relations/performance issues.

Provides a service-oriented attitude to respond to all employee enquiries and to ensure that appropriate actions are taken concerning problem resolution, follow-up and documentation.

Manages workers’ compensation activity to include reporting, record keeping, follow-up, training and coordination with insurance provider.

Compiles employment, compensation, training and other human resource information/data/statistics necessary to prepare HR metrics and reports.

Ensures that HR actions are in compliance with all appropriate regulatory, licensing, and accrediting agencies/authorities. 

Develops and participates in employee training including onboarding of new employees, new supervisor training, and training in HR processes.

Conducts investigations of employee complaints, determines actions and documents results.

Assists in the planning and execution of all employee events including Lab Week, philanthropic activities, holiday programs, and special events.

Develops and distributes employee communications including benefit information, employee newsletter, event notifications, etc.

Assists with the development and implementation of new human resource-related programs and initiatives.

Maintains currency with state and federal laws and regulations.  Participates in continuing education through newsletters, local HR organizations, etc.

Experience:

Experience as an HR Generalist or 2-4 years of related experience is a minimum.  Microsoft office skills are required.

Education/Training:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related area.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification:

Professional Human Resource (PHR) certification preferred.

Institutional Training Required:

HIPAA, Compliance, Safety and Departmental training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to interact with people at all levels.

Adequate knowledge of HR processes and employment laws..

Job Summary:

The Sales Representative onboards newly generated toxicology accounts in Arkansas. Primary focus being outpatient facilities prescribing scheduled medications, pain management clinics, behavioral and mental health facilities, substance abuse and addiction recovery centers, and regional hospital systems.

Key responsibilities:

Include educating, servicing, and training new and existing customers on company offerings. Identifies new business opportunities by developing existing relationships and cold calling prospective accounts. Assists the Director of Sales as needed in accomplishing sales goals.

Essential Responsibilities / Duties:

Travels throughout territory under direction of the Sales Director to call on current customers and to solicit new and profitable business.
Identify and target new business growth

Set target growth goals and carry out 30-60-90 sales plan

Develop and nurture relationships with accounts in assigned regions to build long-term relationships with clients.
Schedule and deliver field training sessions with our customers/clients and their staff.

Train clinic staff in proper processing of requisitions and sample collection procedure

Qualifications:

Education

Compensation:
